When Juan was 12 years old he was cast in a small role in some foreign film that he doesn't know the title to anymore. He was really excited because he got to curse on screen. Ever since then Juan has been on, what he considers, an epic journey to find that sense of excitement again. His journey led him to co-founding Café Con Leche productions. But cursing on film wasn't enough, so Juan became an artistic associate with Halcyon Theatre. Thanks to the help of Jenn and Tony (and the dozen or so plays they have worked on together) Juan now realizes that you don't necessarily need to curse to get excited from a story. In his spare time Juan enjoys singing R&B songs from the 1990's with his friends. You'll find Juan singing these songs on the sidewalks of busy street intersections, at local eating establishments, or just driving around during the early morning hours. Juan just feels that R&B from that particular decade doesn't get the credit it deserves.
