Play Submissions Update

Due to the overwhelming response we have gotten in the last year, it is taking longer than before to respond to script submissions. Current response time is around one year to 18 months. If you have submitted a play, we thank you for your patience.

As a small company the volume of submsisions we have received is more than we can currently keep up with. No one is served by having their play get lost in a pile, so in order to concentrate fully on the plays already submitted, Halcyon Theatre is not currently accepting script submissions. Any plays received (or postmarked) after October 18th, 2009 will be returned unread.

We remain committed to new work and we are revising our submisisons policies and procedures and will have more information and an updated submissions policy in the Summer of 2010.
